We are looking for an outstanding team member to join our redemptions and reinstatements team, assisting customers in our auto loan portfolio. Overall, the redemption department plays a crucial role in ensuring that auto loans are redeemed, payments are processed accurately, and customers have a smooth and efficient experience during the loan redemption process.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Able to work remotely, in an environment free from distractions, full time M-F 12-9ET
- Managing the process of loan redemption, which involves handling the closure of auto loans, ensuring timely payments, and tracking outstanding balances.
- Providing excellent customer service by assisting customers with any inquiries regarding redemption process, taking payments, and addressing any concerns or issues.
- Handling and processing loan payments, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation related to loan redemptions, verifying accuracy in documentation customer provides, in order to redeem their vehicle.
- Staying up-to-date with industry regulations and company policies to ensure all redemption activities are in compliance with legal and internal standards.
- Effective communication with customers, repo agents, as well as internal teams such as remarketing, collections, and customer support, to facilitate the redemption process.
- Resolving any issues or discrepancies related to loan redemptions, such as disputes or payment irregularities.
- Initiating follow-up with customers to encourage, and explain the benefits of redemption.
- Performing administrative tasks, such as data entry, emailing, and managing loan redemption documentation.
- Educating customers on the benefits of loan redemption and assisting them in understanding the process.
- Handling financial transactions related to loan redemptions, including collecting past due, repo fees, and any other balance associated with redemption.
