Registration and Customer Service Lead (Contract)

Vineyard USA (VUSA) is seeking a Part-Time contractor, Registration and Customer Service Lead (Contract), to join the VUSA Events team in this dynamic season. Working alongside the VUSA Events Team and other National Leaders, the work of the Events Team is to create and execute events to equip, encourage, and further empower local church pastors, leaders, and church attendees in their Kingdom mission.

As a Registration and Customer Service Lead (Contract) for VUSA, you will be an integral part of the Events Team. In this role, you will manage all aspects of Registration and Check-in for the 2024 East and West National Conferences from concept to completion and provide key support in the planning and execution of Registration at the National Conferences. The position requires an organized, self-motivated, and proactive individual with excellent interpersonal communication skills and attention to detail. Please note: This position does require some travel and work time outside normal business hours.

Responsibilities
Work closely with the Events Team and others within Vineyard USA teams to formulate registration data plan, management, and on-site execution efforts for Vineyard USA

Primary administrative support for conference registration

Coordinate Check-in Flow for National Conference Check-in, including recruiting and training check-in volunteers

Print, Organize, and Recruit Volunteers for Registration Packet materials: pack, ship, and set up at each conference location

Print Conference Name Tags

Manage Customer Service by answering questions and assisting conference attendees with the registration process/adjustments

Other conference administration as needed

Collaborate and foster teamwork with any of the partnerships we are working with to facilitate the elements of the project

Job requirements
Qualifications:

Ability to proactively manage multiple tasks, prioritize work, and meet tight deadlines

Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment where directions and priorities can change rapidly

Ability to collaborate, take initiative, and make effective decisions

Strong verbal, written, interpersonal communication, and problem-solving skills

Experience with Google Workspace-based applications, including general knowledge of databases, spreadsheets, and Gmail

Self-motivated & self-starting

Physical conditions:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer

Ability to lift and move 25 lbs., extensive standing or walking during events necessary

Typical hours are during the day, but the position requires the flexibility to be available for weekends, holidays, and evening work hours as needed

Position Type: This is a 1099 contracted position
Compensation and Hours: This is a part-time, hourly contract position at the rate of $25 per hour. Hours will be minimal at first and then ramp up to 25-30 at the peak of event execution time. There is an opportunity to extend hours during the event to full-time hours if available.
