The Contributions You Will Make:
- Work directly with clients and the Benefitfocus client relationship team, to develop and manage effective communication strategies that align to client goals.
- Provide strategic communication direction to clients focused on employee engagement with benefit programs that ultimately lead to improved outcomes.
- Act as communication program point of contact for clients, managing communication projects from conception to execution.
- Create high-quality content for various communication channels, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate across marketing and client management teams to execute communication programs and also enable sales to effectively position our member communication capabilities as part of our benefits administration offering.
- Effectively manage external vendors when necessary, as part of client communication programs.
- Adopt, utilize and role model the Benefitfocus culture as part of everyday activities to drive behavior, facilitate and foster team collaboration & empowerment, and promote an inclusive, collaborative and problem-solving culture.
- If applicable, manage to client-assigned budgets, focusing on estimating, invoicing and reporting.
- Up to 15% travel
- Additional responsibilities, as required.
Minimum Knowledge & Experience:
- 5-10 years of experience in corporate or agency setting.
- Industry knowledge and experience highly preferred: Insurance, Benefits Administration, Benefits Consulting, Healthcare
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including strong ability to present plans to executive level management and proposals in group and/or one-on-one settings.
- Demonstrated success at strategic marketing communications activities.
Preferred Knowledge & Experience:
- BA/BS or equivalent degree in business, marketing, communication, or related discipline
- Bilingual a plus.
