Alight is looking for a Disability Workday Data Input Coder to join our growing team! This role will require toggling between systems to ensure leave input accuracy. This is the perfect position to put your data entry experience and attention to detail to the test. Experience with Workday and/or LeavePro a plus.
This opportunity is virtual, open to candidates who currently reside in the US. Ideal candidates would be available to work an 8 hour shift between 7 AM and 7 PM CST, Monday-Friday.
Duties:
- PTO Entry Updating Workday to enter Sick Time and R&R records for associates to prevent gaps in pay due to pending STD/paid leave determinations and intermittent absences based on Fiserv requirements. The coders also reclassify PTO where necessary based on the approval of STD or paid leave of absence benefits.
- Work from Home Accommodations Tracking Updating Workday to reflect work from home accommodations, including the associated duration and work from home schedule.
- Long-term Disability Updating Workday to reflect LTD approvals based on reporting that is provided by the LTD carrier.
- Leave Status Updating Workday s Leave Module based on case actions (e.g., placing employee on leave, transitioning employee to new leave type based on decisions, entering return to work information)
- Accurately update leaves with our proprietary database.
- Works with Service Center and internal teams to ensure seamless process delivery.
- Identifies and researches issues/system defects (with/without guidance) and formulates resolutions/recommendations by analyzing fact patterns and applying/following SOPs and best practices.
- Helps identify and implement ideas for improving the domain specific processes and methodologies
- Provides resolution in accordance with due dates and documents/maintains SOP documentation and processes. Escalates issues/client noncompliance of processes/procedures as appropriate.
- Responsible for daily execution/processing for aligned domain.
- Adheres to internal and external audit requirements for specific clients.
- Oversees data processing, using SOP/guidelines, to ensure updates are accurately captured.
- Responsible for peer review audits of manual work and providing necessary feedback.
- Identifies potential service delivery issues and provides input towards process improvement.
- Develop and deliver training material and documentation for global support in the ongoing environment.
- Works with team members to communicate with client and/or other domains on issues.
- Generates ad hoc reports by running and or writing queries and analyze for accuracy.
- Prioritize and organize daily responsibilities in order to meet all deadlines
- Conducts/supports acceptance testing of ongoing processes as required (at live date and as changes are made).
Requirements:
- Knowledge of Workday functionality
- 1 plus years of leave administration operations experience
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft applications like Excel and Word.
- Skilled to work under tight deadlines managing multiple tasks.
- Strong understanding and exposure in executing on project methodology.
- Skilled with working in an environment with a solid understanding of client requirements and how to provide advice and counsel.
- Ability to identify and close gaps in processes and procedures within own domain.
- Solid experience with client communication skills required.

Pay Transparency Statement: Alight takes into consideration a candidate s experience, education, certification/credentials, market data, internal equity, and geography when determining an offer for a successful employment candidate, and Alight does so on an individualized, non-discriminatory basis. Therefore, an offer may fall anywhere between the estimated minimum base salary for this role of $25,800.00/year (for full time employees) and the estimated maximum base salary for this role of $64,100.00/year (for full-time employees).
