This position is full-time (40 hours / week), Monday – Friday. Employees are required to work our normal business hours of 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime.
We offer weeks of on-the-job training. The hours during training will be 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM from Monday – Friday. Training will be conducted virtually from your home.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Responsible for managing Third – Party AR by analyzing denied and un – responded claims
- Outbound calls to insurance carriers to appeal and check claims status
- Post explanation of benefits
- Coordinate with insurance carriers to reconcile / resolve any issues
- Familiar with explanation of benefits
- Maintain Compliance and HIPAA standards at all times
- Meet or exceed daily production standards by maintaining work list according to metrics

Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma / GED
- 1+ years of experience in Medical Billing
- 1+ years of customer service experience with analyzing and solving customer problems OR 1+ years of experience in an office setting environment, using the telephone and computer as the primary instruments to perform job duties
- Experience with using Microsoft Office applications: Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Outlook (ability to create, edit, save, and send documents, spreadsheets, and correspondence)
- Ability to work any full – time shift between the hours of 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM from Monday – Friday including the flexibility to work occasional overtime based on business need
- Must be 18 years of age OR older
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Healthcare / Medical / Pharmacy terminology
- Telecommuting Requirements:
- Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable)
- Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy
- Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service
