Waterford is seeking an individual who has a passion for education equity, an outstanding work ethic, and a strong dedication to inclusivity. We’re especially interested in candidates with sales experience. Our Lead Generation Specialist (we call them School Relations Coordinators) will assist the sales team in seeking out and establishing relationships with school leaders and advocates, empowering them with knowledge of Waterford.org’s mission, adaptive learning software and the opportunity to afford countless numbers of children access to a fun and personalized, research based learning experience!
Job Description
- Build relationships with School Relations Directors & Coordinators, members of the Marketing team, and other departments working closely to generate qualified leads as well as build and hit quarterly/yearly goals in their territories
- Write effective emails and call scripts that are culturally responsive and reflective of the various communities linguistic and culturally diverse circumstances. Develop call/email lists of Districts and School Administrators, schedule onsite, phone, Zoom meetings, and dinners for School Relations Directors.
- Maintain Salesforce leads and exceed monthly goal of 15 or more scheduled appointments, making 60-80 dials a day to generate meetings and maintain 85% or higher for meetings held
- Must have a cell phone and be able to attend weekly sales training meetings
- Possess strong organization skills, and meticulous with the ability to identify problems as they arise finding innovative, yet practical solutions.

Desired Experience
- High school diploma
- 3 + years of experience in a high-performance sales organization in lead generation or similar sales with a strong understanding of the sales environment, including sales content, tools, and training
- Proficient with MS Office Suite, Gmail to send emails, calendar invites, Google Drive, docs, and spreadsheets
- Strong dedicated performer and fast learner with a positive outlook and excellent communication skills

Waterford.org team members are located across the United States and primarily work from home. We anticipate this full time, hourly position will pay $18.42-$24.94 per hour depending on the education, experience and skill level of the individual we hire. In addition to your hourly pay, Waterford has an annual bonus program.
