Position Details:
You will provide customer service support through your identification of products and solutions to keep customers’ businesses running smoothly and safely.
You will report to a Manager, Customer Experience and will be provided with an 8.5-hour work schedule M – Fri from 9:30 a.m. – 6 p.m. EST
This position is hourly, and the start rate is $18.20.
The range provided is a guideline and not a guarantee of compensation. Other factors that are involved in offer decisions include, and are not limited to: candidate’s experience, qualifications, geographical area, and internal equity of the team.
You Will:
- Resolve complex pricing situations encountered during customer interactions using current sales policies including CSP escalations and pricing objection handling using system capabilities to provide information such as pricing, availability, technical and application support, product identification and alternative solutions to make a relevant offer and capitalize the sale.
- On non-SKU products, identifies alternate products based on customer requirements by researching and identifying part/product numbers to provide to sourcing team, and follows up with customer on the request (as opposed to sourcing hand-off).
- Use methods and techniques using Internet search engines, manufacturer, and distributor websites to find relevant product specifications and attributes as opposed to hand off to cross-referencing.
- Support the order placement process through sourcing and accomplishing quotes, check availability, lead times, order entry, order management, order status, shipping and delivery status, back orders and reporting activities.
- Partner with Sellers and Sales Leaders to provide feedback of improvement opportunities with Seller engagement to enhance the customer experience.
You Have:
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience in metalworking.
- Operate PC-based programs: Work out of multiple customer portals simultaneously. (Dual) Order management. SAP/ERMS/SalesForce/MS Office.
